Hi All,

What have others done with the fuel breather line on their Subaru conversions?
The EJ engine has fuel feed, return and breather connections.

Blank off?
Tee into VW breather setup?
Leave open to atmosphere?

Mine is blanked off. I didn't do the conversion, but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues.

To be honest, I'm not totally sure on the function of the breather/evac line on the engine. Do the breathers on the tank mean it's not required (no chance of a vacuum in the tank as the fuel goes down)? Or is it more related to emissions control (e.g. in the US there'd be a charcoal filter)?

Yes you can blank it off at the fuel rails. It's for emissions as you said, but not necessary here. My old DH wbx had a charcoal filter on it too, which was from the Australian market.
