No idea I’m afraid. Is it significant? Thanks

The wattage will be printed on the tube, or embossed in the metal end-cap.

You will probably only find fluorescent tubes online.
They will ask wattage and tube length.

My local electrical factors ceased selling them 5 years ago.

Alternatively you could seek out an LED version.

Ah, sorry my misunderstanding. I’m wanting to replace the whole unit rather than just the tube. The unit is getting power from the 12v but not working. Suspect they’re only available second hand so may have to look at newer led versions.

As daft as it sounds, it may be easier to source something from a Caravan supplier or outdoorsy type shop.

There should be lots of options from a caravan that would be just as at-home in a camper van.

As an example, I am based to the east of Manchester and we have places like Glossop Caravans or TowSure near Sheffield.

I am sure there must be similar within reasonable driving distance from you.

With regard to your existing light unit.
It is still possible to buy indevidual components online, such as chokes, starters and tubes.

Just takes a bit of shopping around and using common sense for checking out wattages and the like.

Excellent link Rob.
Thanks for that. Now added to my website bookmarks. :ok

I did something sorta sketch with my interior lights.

I had some spare LED strip lighting as I added some footwell lighting so I just removed the innards of my lights and just wired the strip lights to the inside, as they were self adhesive I could just attach them to the inside of the plastic with them all on, they use less than half the power of the old tube lights did. It has a 5amp fuse on the circuit as well.
