Carb restrictor device

Hi can anyone help with a pierburg restricter that fits in the tube leading to the pulldown unit. Or if there are any other solutions. Thanks massively in advance!
Apparently not really needed, I think it just stops the flap closing abruptly. This is what I was told when I replaced my unit last year.
