Identification needed please

Can anyone tell me what this is please?
Having googled Anderson Power Products, I gather it's some sort of power source but no idea what it's for (or why it's there).
The electrics in my T25 are a little sketchy in places (electric PAS connected to leisure battery!) and no sign of any split charging. No Zig unit either although I've got one I can retro fit if it's worthwhile...
Cheers!

Its an Anderson female socket. Did your van come with anything with a male plug? You will need to trace the wire back to see what its connected to.

If there was something, it's not there now!
I'm guessing that this *should* go directly to the battery?
Am I right in thinking that this is something that can be used as a split charger to the leisure battery?
And ordinarily, what would this be used for?

Best find out what the other end is connected to. Easier to work out its purpose.

Find the other end
It’s only a small Anderson , so not big enough , in my opinion, for jump starting , which is a common use for them
