				There seems to be a oil leak on the right side of the engine…
Is this bad news.. sorry for the basic question… the reason I ask as I was waiting for recovery also as one of the cv joints collapsed tonight so had time to kill…

				Probably just needs a new rocker cover gasket. Cleaning it doesn't seem to be your favorite pastime.

				new cork gasket with a smear of grease either side, job done, that or you got a leak from the pushrod tubes

				Changing the rocker cover seal is a ten min job , put something down to catch the oil , basically lever the spring off with a big screwdriver , remove the old seal , meticulously clean the two faces the seal goes to , add a generous finger full of multi purpose grease on each side of the new cork gasket and reassemble. Making sure its clean and well greased is all you need to do , no sealant needed .dont buy cheap nasty gaskets , good quality cork is what you need

				Not lots. But you still need something like an old kitchen bowl to catch the drips. Its worth investing in something like this for future oil changes.
