Putting together replacements and parts for switching my blown DG engined camper for a rebuilt DJ shortly.

This will run a carb/LPG set up. But which dissy do l use. DJ or DG?

Regards
Stuart

DJ and leave the timing at 10º but you will need to use the super unleaded petrol when not on lpg .
I have been running a DJ on a carb on a DJ dissy for 20 years

Thanks, Steve

That reminds me. My first camper was converted to LPG by Steve Shaw in 2007. I dont recall ever being told to run high octane fuel when not using LPG. So l would just use regular. That DG1.9 camper would start easily on LPG, whether freezing cold during winter or scorching hot in Spain. And we covered 80k in 10 years.
The van has new ownership since 2017. And we make regular meets; and, according to the new owner, the engine is still going as strong as ever.

Depends on how it was set up and what engine it was , i always set them to start on LPG and if the timing was set at 7º it would be fine on unleaded . I run DJ on 10º and super unleaded as factory which also works well on LPG
