I did have a look on the site but couldn't find any. I'll contact them direct. Can't find them anywhere!

The cone one? you don't really need one, I ran my van for 3 years without one, only got one as I swapped the carb out and it had one on it, As long as you change the main filter by the tank frequently then you shouldn't have issues.

I have changed the one at the tank, but I find it's still getting crud in the float bowl, so I would like the carb filter as it doesn't have one, and it should be there after all.

If the cruds getting past the first filter chances are it will get past the other one as the mesh isn't that fine.. at least the one I have isn't.

It's already been talked about but thank you. Any idea of anywhere else? Beginning to think it's an unavailable part.

You said you couldn't find it when Aidan put up the link. I was showing you where to find it. Just get in touch with Gower & lee. They are the go-to company for your carb. Or put an ad in the wanted section somebody may have a spare.

That is the sort of thing that we used to make ourselves - teaches you good soldering skills.

That's right, I can't find it on the site, it doesn't seem to be listed for sale. I have already contacted them, will be next week before they reply, and the company is semi retired. I haven't seen them for sale anywhere as yet, they don't even come in the service kits.

Well, Gower & Lee came up trumps, I was able to get one from them, super service too. It is a tiny little thing (insert Carry On joke here) but I'm pleased to have got it. Thanks for the replies, appreciated as always, great forum. All the best.
