Battery connections - stand off !

I have several cables connecting to the battery so its fairly crowded (especially the positive post)
I'd like it tidied up so there is just one to each

So could do with a 'stand off' system to keep the bulk of the wores off the actual battery post. Looking for ideas or suggestions please.
Battery post is so crowded that I can barely attach my battery conditioner - and once on, I cant shut the lid! ( I know I can a little extension to help plug this in easily but theres no room)
Diesel engine, battery in engine bay (rear offside corner) squeezed into the spave with the air filter !

There is an M6 stud in the black box, but that can be also crowded.
The starter positive pole is hidden that can be good or bad.
I possibly would screw a power distribution fuse block on the firewall beside the diesel filter somewhere. Or use an Mk4 (?) Or later positive post with built in fuses.

get a high current distribution board from a post 2000 scrap car - if you have room on top of the battery as they mount to the battery post live directly, you can fuse the circuits as required; otherwise get a fused distribution board for wiring remotely and fit it under the seat or on/in your furniture
12v Planet have some useful stuff but often available cheaper elsewhere like Ebay

Cheers - I like the idea of the junction box

I can mount it somewhere and have just one lead from box to battery.
I dont have much room between top of battery and underside of engine cover
(will try and put pic up from phone)

I understand now. Your battery is turned 90 degrees due to tdi conversion and it is 190mm tall instead of the 175mm.
Then you definitively need a junction box somewhere.
