Minor rust on rear corner - MOT issue?

After some a stolen car was dumped into my van breaking most of the mounting points on the GRP rear bumper I gave up looking for a decent value replacement and fitted a new steel one.  Knock on effect is it has revealed some rust on the back rear lower corner...

I'm not particularly worried form a structural perspective, my plan was to clean up and paint for time being to prevent it getting worse, but any thoughts/experiance on if this is likely to be an MOT issue?

That’s a pretty localised and easy repair as it stands, it’s not mot from a structural point of view but it is from a sharp edges point of view, tape over it and it will pass

Had a car fail due to a hole about that size in a door, tester said a kid could put their finger in and cut themselves! Bit of duct tape, jobs a good'un.

For longer terms repairs, fibre glass matt the inside of the hole if accessible and then filler on the outside, preparation of the areas is essential for a good finish, not concourse but does the job.
