Water under driver and passenger floor mats after heavy rain.

Whilst looking in to a few other bits I lifted both front floor mats to find it damp/wet under there. (1980, 2.0 CU RHD)
The Van hasn't moved due to the fuel pump but it did rain very heavily.
Any ideas where this is likely to be getting in?
Many thanks in advance.

Prime suspects will be the window screen and or the washer jets

Seals look okay but I do have a few holes! Aerials maybe?

Good spot. You’ve bought a van with a recent respray.
I wonder what it’s hiding…
Good luck!

It's been painted a couple of years ago and then stood after the fuel pump failed when the owner lost interest, some seam rash lower down and bubbling in places already, I'm under no illusions, it’s over 40 years old and there will be lots of filler! I can see new panels in places which concurs with the build photos.

Added a 2 point fixing radio aerial to cover those holes... Still leaking in mind, must be getting through my missing door handles.

Wet footwells are either a bady seated windscreen seal or washer jets, or rusty holes in the corners of the windscreen recess which you cannot see without removing the windscreen.

Washer jets are a bit old and faded but seem sealed, I'll have a poke around the window seal. It looks fine on the surface but you never know what lurks beneath. It has a stone chip bullet so I need to replace it anyway.
Has anyone used the screens from Schofields?

Cheapest way is to use your insurance if you have screen cover and the excess isnt stupid…….
They wont care the screen has been out a few days before they get to it , less work for the fitter

Well I was poking around and noticed the washer wasn't connected to the pump, didn't have time to get the dash out so temporarily stuck the nozzle back on with a silicone seal..... guess what? No more water ingress

thanks for all the suggestions
