Interior lights delay relay

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for the interior light dimmer relay (looks like these were pretty rare on the later models)? Someone's cut a white and a red cable coming off the relay plug, can't for the life for me find a diagram to work off (will assume the red wire is an easy fix to live, but would be good to be able to check them all over one by one).
Cheers, Colin

Never knew that was a thing with t25s. Is that a caravelle spec thing?

My 91 Caravelle GL has nothing like that. Just the dimmer for the dash lights. I can't see why you would want to dim the interior lights anyway. As they are not that bright to begin with.

It's a late 1991 South African import - when you close the doors it's meant to keep the lights on and slowly dim them over ten seconds. Next time I have 5 mins I can take a pic if helpful.

I have seen the odd schematic for this, but the best way to achieve it is to use a unit from a golf from the late 80s,
or a ten-second delay relay that is modestly easy to get from ebay vendors.
-------------------
I have seen diagrams with the following colours.
Red -battery live from the interior light circuit.
Brown/white to the door dip switches.
I haven't seen white mentioned, but I have seen mention of a grey that goes to a seatbelt / handbrake display unit relay.
---------------------
The fade-down circuit should use four wires in a generic set-up.
T - Brown/White - Door switch contact.
(T means Tur, which is German for door)
15 - Black - Ignition Live.
30 - Red - Battery Live.
31 - Brown - to ground (manual light on).

Thanks muchly, I can work off that for now. I've seen a few cheap dimmer units on ebay - as its original it'd be good to leave it in and get it working (if possible). I'll see if I can take a picture over the next few days when I get 5.
Cheers!

Took a few pics to try and figure out what the connections are, this is what I've assumed / got so far:
Brown / Green - Cab Door Switches (Checked)
Brown / Yellow - Sliding Door Switch (Assumed, definitely one of the door switches - my multi-meter doesn't reach that far)
Brown / White - Boot Door Switch (Assumed, definitely one of the door switches - my multi-meter doesn't reach that far)
Black - Ignition (Checked)
Red - Live (Assumed)
White - ?? (Mystery)
As always, any help very much appreciated

Pretty certain the delay is part of the interior light, at least it is on the golf one I have

Would make sense white is the central locking lock signal wire remains 12v live when the doors are locked.

It must be an SA thing.
Late Multivans had interior lamps with built in timer eletronic. I did see some of those.
