Headlamp switch variants

How do, with supplies drying up of some of the oddball headlamp switches leaving 2 switches available on the aftermarket I thought I'd dig in to ETKA and try and work out all the variants and see what is interchangeable with what.
Wish I'd never started!
What prompted it was the demise of the switch for dim dip from VW Classic Parts and customers asking which switch they could now use.
I've been though my boxes and got a fair few listed but there's a few Google images nor my boxes if crap can cover.
I'd be interested to hear from owners of earlier vans with some of the part numbers with low suffixes, A, B, C etc
If you're one of the poor souls with dim dip then I checked with my local MOT station and now there is no requirement for dim dip to work so simply fitting a normal switch will work and just disable the dim dip system (which no one uses anyway)

Great! I hope it will be a public resource on one of your pages.

I have a C and a modified T in hand

Front side had a translucent lamp symbol, but swapped onto mine in the van which is an M IIRC
I had the C originally ('86 van) just the resistor wire of the brightness adjustment melted.

Front side of M (?):

E D I T:

Just remembered to check it on T3pedia if they already collected the info
Yes, they did:

With regard to "C", would you be so kind as to take a pic of the terminal markings for the 6.3mm tabs?

Then you can sort out the C now.

I will check my installed one later this week.

It seems like mine was in the lasts that used the C in June '86
As I can see the difference with M is only the lamps symbol. I guess there was a change in the german regulations about that.
And mine has a CE1 fuse panel
