I plan to replace my front handbrake cable as tge threaded section has seen better days. And I dont want it giving up on me randomly.. But has anyone done this without dropping the tank.. Its a jx engine

Its the black plastic friction block thats pressed up into a bracket underneath that needs popping down out of the bracket, there is access from the rear.

Was a tank out job.. Simply no access to the rubber guide bush that's mounted to cab floor
