Original radio wesfalia joker

Does anyone know which radio would have been fitted in a 1989 westfalia joker, when they were new? Mine is a RHD uk market one. I am interested in getting my hands on whatever radio it was, to retro fit in my camper. I am guessing it was not an option but would have been fitted as standard? Maybe blaupunkt of some kind? Low of older blaupunkt radios available still, albeit at rather aspirational prices, but I am capable of repairing a non functioning one.
Any answers will be much appreciated
TIA
Mark

Hmm!
Just googled it , could be a blaupunkt Boston according to some older topics on this very forum. Sorry about that should have searched first , although I notice that there could have been a VW branded radio fitted. Anyway hope some of you can respond with some info

sorry to be a pedant, but there were never any RHD Westies made, the roof pressing is different and only got fitted to LHD shells, which then went to Westy to get finished.

There was "mosaic" kits made by westy in the 80's where you could retro fit an interior, but I don't think they were made for RHD either

So basically the radio in your van originally would have been the one specc'd at purchase (or offered with the trim level)

Mr hutch,
I believe mine to be a mosaic (or mosaik) if you prefer, very likely a kit as you suggest.
I was hoping that someone would remember what radio , or radios, uk market T 3 s came with when new.
My own fumbling attempts have narrowed it down to blaupunkt Boston or Bremen or vw branded ones such as gamma etc. thanks for the response anyway

do you know what spec the van was??  C, GL etc, and if it was a factory caravelle?

I had a panel once that was completely unmolested and still had the factory blanking plate where the radio hole was!

going by the windows not a factory caravelle
most likely a RHD panel van kitted with the Mosaic stuff at some point
therefore a C, GL when new . I now realise there not have been a radio at all
but, IF T3 of that era were fitted with one , my OP question remains
what type would that be ?

If you make your way to vw-pix.org you can trawl the archive of period T3 brochures by year ;)

Having a delve on Google it looks like two types might have been fitted. Radios were optional but the most likely ones were a Blaupunkt SC89A which looks like a budget model possibly fitted in earlier vans.
The other is a Blaupunkt Heidelberg. Similar to this maybe
