Heyup, just a quickie question....I have to pick up a 1600 diesel 5 speed gearbox tomorrow in my Ford Escort Hatchback. Does anyone know the dimensions of the gearbox and whether it would fit in the boot (the back bit without putting the seat down) as i have to take my kids with me etc. Width should be ok but just a bit concerned about the length...a diagram with dimensions or a link would good if anyone has got one.

Think it should be fine, mate.
i got my T25 5speed in the boot of a peugeot 306 with the rear seat upright, pretty sure you'll be ok.

take a couple of noggins of wood
and a strap then stand it upright,
that's if the seal don't leak BTW.

easily got one into the back of a
mk2 polo though.
