Need to find permanent and switched lives for my engine conversion

My engine conversion has thrown up the problem of poor loading on the 'velle's electrical circuit
I need a switched live for the electrics, can anyone recommend how to add one or where I can pull a strong feed from?
Thanks in advance

On my 1990 2.1DJ there's a Ign Live (Black Wire, single spade connector 'T1c') in the black box in back near side corner of the Engine bay - assume there's similar on other years / engines?
Easiest spot if you need one at the front is the spare spades on the back of the fuseboard.

Do you want the feed at the front of the van -
Fuse box?

See the 'G' pins for ignition live options
See the 'N' pins for battery live connections.
-------------------------
Or at the rear?
Black - ignition live for the coil
Red - battery live available on the threaded stud in the junction box

I will try the red wire in the box

There is no switched live. at the front
Best to take a feed from the back of the fuse box
or from the rear firewall black box in the engine bay.

sorted now with the help of my engine supplier, fitted a 40amp 4 pin relay
Blue is live off the ignition key, it's the coil wire
Brown is earth
Gray is to the fuel pump relay/engine fuse box and ECU
Gray and green/yellow is off the starter positive so permanent live
Van now runs off the key
Thanks to all
