Has anyone given this a try?

Battery operated AC and heater, if it would fit between the front seats I think it would be quite nice.

I don't have any experience of that specific item but I do use EcoFlow 'solar generators' for work and camping and they are the underlying battery tech in these units. They are very good, well made and hit their performance specs. That said they are so good I can actually run a portable mains air con unit usually have in the house (cost £250 or so) which also fits between the seats. I did watch a couple youtube reviews on this and they said it was good kit but takes a while to cool a van - I think the idea is more that you sit close to it and get a cooling breeze.
