Hi I'm building up some of your recent postings for posterity on the wiki. I would just like to 'officially' ask if you mind if your posts (on 80-90 and BusGoofs) are copied to the WIKI in advance of it being live. As you've both got so much to give it would be easier to ask for permission 'in masse' rather than for each article. Naturally once it is live you will be able to add them yourselves, but I would rather you gave 'pre' agreement rather than just seeing them there. Each post will have the authors name and a link to the original URL. It would of course be far easier if we could arrange a weekly input via direct brain to internet interface. However, I am unsure whether the Iomart servers could handle the volume of content, or whether the porn filters would go into meltdown first.

it's 'en masse' and it's fine, as it always has been.

If you want the 'off roading' article in MS Turd format I can forward that, too.

I was thinking about this the other day.. I was looking a wikipeda and typed in syncro to see what it would find..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Type_2_%28T3%29

a bit lacking... Anyone fancy adding to it?

Recently I have set up 2 wikis using the mediawiki engine (the same as wikipedia) one of the TRF and one for my work. They are a really good way to collect and refine the sum of knowledge on a subject.

There is so much knowledge floating about between the members on here, epsecially on conversions and mods that it would be great to record it all and publish it.

I think a club 80-90 wiki would be a good idea as there are many people on here who would add to it and even more that would read it.

One word of advise would be plan how you want to structure it so it easy for people to add to, else they can turn into a bit of a disjointed ramble.

Hi jet, the wiki is up and running but we are ironing out the last few bugs before it goes live.
