Why are you looking to increase the outlet?
Are you doing an engine conversion?

Ok after looking at that post i can see that it is slightly more than just the size of the outlet so looks like i need to get an injection tank

I have an AGG in my Gipsy using a diesel tank and just stepped the hose size up to the EFI pump with an adapter. Been on there 4 yrs and no issues at all with fuel starvation or cavitation.

Vw t2 uses the same fuel tank outlet as carb and the filter steps up from 6-12 mm I think for fuel injection, same pump as a golf etc

Might be worth checking that DVLC dont see this as a major change to the vehicle. You could lose your free tax status.
