Hello this is from our recently purchased 2987 t25 high top camper
The lock turns as should and is the correct one for the year but it will not lock and I am beginning to think that there must be two different latches or it's broken any advice would be good thanks

If you turn the key, the lever with your key code nr stamped should turn with it.
With that turned if you press the button it cannot reach the lever of the catch mechanism to open.
This is how the hatch is locked.
