Radius rod bushes - how long do yours last?

Early front suspension system.  Replaced the outer bushes with BW sourced ones 2 years / 6000 miles ago. Inner bushes & steel spacer replaced before that with BW items.  Outer bush on both sides now have splits - seems a bit premature? Steering alignment & geometry recently checked and ok, but the fact they're splitting makes me question something is overloading them, or loading them at an orientation they don't like.
Reasonable suspicion that something is astray?  Or is that a reasonable lifespan considering the horrific state of the roads of Argyll and I just replace again (maybe with Powerflex?).  Would appreciate the thoughts of the hive mind.

Thanks,
Rob

I had Febi ones which held up for a few years before the metal reinforcement rusted away.

Mine lasted less than a year with very few miles. Modern rubber is useless.

For a sod of a job like that, I'd just go with powerflex. They have the lifetime warranty anyway, do if they do fail you'll be covered for the parts at least. I chose the yellow ones which are a bit softer than purple, but not sure why really
