I was away at Brean sands last weekend and while booking up the electric, I put mine under the van as I didn’t want a flap or a whole in the side
I noticed the heater pipe that runs from the rear cross member going forward under the tank was a sagging a lot ! Got under there and indeed it was heavy felt like something was in there ..

After we got back in the week I pulled it apart , seems some squirrels have been busy hiding acorns in the pipe a lot of acorns just thought I’d share in cas any one else with an Aircooled has a sagging pipe lol
Think they got in though the heat exchangers were on my van the elbow pipes from the fan on the alternator were missing , they are not missing anymore

These are the pipes I’ve used to replace the missing steel ones long since rusted away
