Hi folks,
So this problem has developed on my 1990 lhd t3,
The interior knob you push up or down to open/close won’t stay in the up position any more… I took it out and the little spring that obviously holds the switch in the up position was broken in the unit and fell out… I see you can’t disassemble the housing so I don’t see any way of looking at the innards and try find a replacement spring to fix this. Has anyone any idea on a fix or do I need to try find another complete unit?

You could possibly strip it , repair and rebuild, I have a good used spare if not
