Question re the screw terminals on the back of the panel. There are two sets, top and middle. Anyone know what they are for?

Are you referring to the three brass threaded posts with nuts with a smaller diameter post in the middle, if so those are for the temperature gauge - the smaller one in the middle is the earth connection.
