how interchangeable are the instrument pods van to van

I have a 1.6na Vin Diesel. Will only a diesel dash pod be suitable?

i should think so. for a start a petrol one wont have the glowplug light...

we have a diesel one on our petrol camper. just obviosuly glow light plug does nothing, other than that all is good

Early/late is a problem also rev counters wont interchange properly I think.

some of them have the flexible circuit board terminations in different places too
