First time van owner

Hello all, got myself a 1984 1.9 automatic petrol T25, it’s my first one. ‘Watch out’ everyone warned me they’re money pits. Not this one I thought as I headed out of my driveway. Fast forward 3 weeks and now it sits in the same spot whilst I hold my head in my hands. She starts fine, then as soon as I go to drive the engine dies, I can start it again no problem. I’ve changed the dizzy, rotor arm, plugs, fuel pump and filter plus air filter. What am i missing?
Also can anyone recommend a person in the Worthing area who can help me out?

Cheers for that. Are you in that area, if so do you know of any van meets?

Turn up the idle on the carb (assuming it is standard pierburg) and try again.

I’ve managed to get it going, turned out to be a faulty vacuum advance pump. Glad I changed pretty much everything to do with fuel and electrics. 😂😂
