Trailing arm plastic pad

Has anyone ever used a top rear spring pad for the bottom of the spring where it sits on the trailing arm?? I have 4 good top pads so could use these,, the van itself would sit 10mm higher due to the increased thickness.. not sure if I'm missing something obvious which means this would have a negative effect.
Here is one is place to give you an idea.

I've been running these for about a year (5k) without issues.
I went 30mm shorter on the springs front/back to reduce cornering lean in my high-top. Now my camper sits perfectly and runs much better through roundabouts and cornering.
initially l had concerns about the springs topping out and jumping off the turrets. Nothing to worry about in my opinion. Just don't get airborne over hump back bridges.
