Sliding Door Glass - Curved or Flat (Panel Conversion)

Hi All,

I am struggling to find a definitive answer to the glass type to use for a sliding door or middle panel on a "converted" van..

some info says flat glass, some says curved.

Personally I removed flat glass from my van, but in a donor converted panel sliding door I removed curved glass,
again this confuses the situation

the panels the glass fit into do have a slight curve, but it is subtle..

Can anyone advise to save my sanity??

I presume it just depends on the original converter. Most skinflint UK conversion firms would have used flat glass because it was cheaper, but as you say - there is some curve to the panel so a curved glass will fit nicer.

The stock windows are flat, but the window recesses take this into account.

The glass on our Devon is curved, from a quick look the curve matches the curve in the driver's and passenger's door windows.
