Good morning to all, does anyone have an exploded image or pictures of the inside mechanism of a Caravelle armrest, mine has developed brewers droop suddenly. I did find some info via 'Samba' but no diagrams, it may well be obvious when apart but I just thought it would be useful to be pre warned. Many thanks.

Has the 'roll pin' that holds the arm to the seat bracket come out?
Sometimes the pins holding the bracket to the seat come loose or actually fall out.
Another problem is if the adjuster is fully unscrewed and can pull out of the arm, there's a 'captive ' nut inside the arm that rattles around which will require a bit of surgery to the arm if this is the case.

Thank you Shepster, panic over, was aware of the roll pin but it hadn't occurred to me that it may have come out, now I wonder where it has gone, parked against fence so will look when rain stops

The metal part that the pin goes through can crack open, i repaired mine with a thick steel sleeveĀ with a hole drilled out and fitted over the broken part.

Thank you for your help, the pin had come out and was in the cover of the arm rest, retensioned pin a little by wedging it open with a screwdriver and twisting and it is now fitted firmly

Did notice a slight exhaust blow when moving away from the fence , feared rthe worst when found the top bolt missing on the manifold by the waterpump but thread not stripped and new bolt tightened correctly and stopped blow, if only all things that go wrong were so easily fixed
