Hello are the old eberspacher heater controller boxes usable on different model types.

My heater model number is : Best.Nr 25 1534 00 00 00

My controller box model number is * 20 1607 50 00 00

The controller box I am looking at is : 25 1597 50 00 00

Will it be compatible. Thank you 

Are the connectors the same. If so then I dont see why it wont work.

Not true. Connections can be the same but different circuits inside. ie Eberspacher and Webasto boxes can have exactly the same connections but different boards inside. Hella ( manufacturers of both Webasto and Eberspacher ones) marked ones also. Sure way to fry an ECU if you don't research the part numbers.

If a superseded part and the connectors are the same then it would work

But you did not know it was superseded!

Because you would have replied to the old thread before I posted in 2010 that the original was superseded, or stated the fact earlier in this thread.

Thanks for your reply , I've ended up stripping the box and in the process of trying to fit a Chinese heater in there. Kinda stuck on mounting the heater correctly so it won't move around in there.
