Hi all

Had a problem burning out fuel pumps which was finally found to be a broken fuel pressure regulator which caused so much of a constriction that the fuel hose going to the fuel rail nearly doubled in diameter. Anyway, disaster averted however nowhere in the UK stocked a new part and Subaru wanted £170 for one from Japan. After a bit of digging I found the following which is basically an exact copy of my subaru one for just over a fiver. Put it on and van is running great and no more squealing fuel pumps. Just a tip!

Yeah thanks slowcoach. Could have been carnage if the fuel hose burst as Subaru exhaust manifold is right below the fpr
