Painting Bumper Matt Black

My van has matt black bumpers which I want to touch up, prior to taking photographs for my insurance.

I actually painted them (by brush) several years ago, but don't remember which paint I used.

I found a used tin of blackboard paint in my garage, so it may have been this but thought I would check, in case there is a better paint option.

It would be too much faff to remove the bumpers and side panels (whatever they are called) on the front two doors .. so I'l just hand paint on the van

thanks for any advice

I think you'll be lucky that any matt touch up would be invisible after so long - black board paint tends to start of with a sheen that fades with use - but I confess I've never used it for exterior applications before let alone on a car

Don't understand what type of bumpers you have fitted. It is normally a case of unbolting them. Also it is worth cleaning and either wire brushing or sanding the insides before painting that area also.

The OP mentions door pods so I’d assume it’s a plastic big bumper🤷🏼‍♂️
