Evening all, I have 1983 Aircooled 2l petrol model. Can anyone recommend a good carburetor/ fuel injection cleaner I can add to my petrol to clean everything out?

Well in the good old days we would get a penny shot of Redex at every fill up and for a quick decoke - particularly on two strokes, we used to pour an egg cup full of Redex down the carb with the engine running and the throtle at full bore to clear jammed rings and carbon in the ports. The resulting smoke and kerfuffle was ceratainly impressive but of dubious eficacy. We do know better now  .
But back to the post:
I have finally aquired a spare set of injectors for my WBX and am wondering if I should be thinking about cleaning them or even getting them refurbished. BYTW IMO fuel additives in such dilution do kind of remind me of stroking ones forehead with a willow twig in the hope of curing a headache. Any views?

I swear by this stuff

I have a 1981 CU engine and have noticed the difference with and without use.

Far less pinking and smoother running with this!
