Hi, new to forum I’m looking for advice re comparability of a double passenger seat from T4 van upwards being fitted to a 1984 T25? It’s to allow three people to travel in the front. We’re working on a budget and although can find bench/double passenger seats for more modern vans, I haven’t found any for a T25/T3… may be I’m entering the wrong search term into Google? We’re new to exploring vanlife! Thanks in advance,

The original t3 double cab seat was a lap belt for the middle passenger.

Maybe try the wanted section.

I have one for a T25 but they were only fitted where there was a bukhead between the fron seats and the rear of the van and were held upright by that bulkhead. Not much use for a camper van unless the framae are heavily modified.

Some people fitted a tubular bar across the van behind the seats to take the weight / provide support for the double seat.

I have a double front seat for a RHD that I can take to Busfest if you are going.
