Front accelerator cable bracket???

I am a new comer to the T25, and am struggling to find any information about a U shaped bracket that is located about 6 to 8 inches behind the accelerator pedal. The accelerator cable passes through the U shape in two places, but all I have is a rusty floor pan and a rusty bracket. I can't see how it should be attached, or exactly what its purpose is. I did see it on one of the spares sites, just before I bought the van, but since then, I haven't been able to find it, or any information about it. I was told, by one of the spares suppliers, that this was the place to come. I can supply a picture of the rust, if that would help.

Thanks in advance. :ok

The position doesn’t really matter as it’s just for the cable to run inside of

As above,
they spot weld to the underside of the floor, if your floors missing then when you mqake a repair  drill 2 8mm holes in it where youd like the bracket to sit then a quick once over with a soft pad and puddle weld through it,

hello
that bracket is likely a support system for accelerator cable.
