Dented Pushrod tube - How bad?

Hi Folks
How bad is this? Not leaking and engine sounds fine. It's on a new engine that's just done 500 miles....grrr, arggh....and various four letter words! Don't ask.
I know it needs sorting but I go away in 1 week so want to know if it can wait?

Grrr - just run it and i can feel a very slight knock on that tube while it's running. Bad, right?!

Does the bus go with you in one week? It's an easy job. Certainly wouldn't take a week to fix.

2 weeks in Cornwall.....arghh. Thanks for the reassurance...just been on YouTube

Going to see my guy that fitted the engine later today to hopefully get him to fit me in. I don't have access to a drive way anywhere to do it myself and with it being new engine i really don#t want to mess anything up.
Parts ordered:-
Telescopic tube, new pushrod(just in case), rocker cover gasket. Anything else?
Cheers

Pull the rocker gear, feel if the push rod catches, if it does stick something inside to open the tube a little, try again, can fix that in hand an hour or Swap for spring loaded type

I replaced mine with spring loaded.
Can I ask how it happened, do you have the covers in place?
David.

I'm struggling to understand how that could happen with the covers in situ.

It's very clean under there, if that's any consolation
