Club 80-90 Forums

My auto box was running great yesterday, took it out today for 6 miles and started slipping, now only goes on reverse and no forward gears engage. Oil is at correct level, what could be the possible issues? Cheers!

Been a while but alas Gearbox still does not work!  Can anyone recommend a specialist to rebuild it?

Knowing there's somewhere that can rebuild these gearboxes nowadays is great. A few years ago I didn't know of anyone, and that was one of the main reasons I didn't just use my caravelle as a daily.
I might have to keep an eye out for another 2.1 auto T25 and my T6 might get pushed out, if that's the case.

I wish I knew Lee could rebuild these a few years ago. I have got through three S/H boxes over the years. Its easier to get in touch with him on Instagram. I believe he's on farcebook. But I don't use that platform.
