Is there an easy way of getting to the high pressure switch mine seems to be covered by the engine carrier bar it’s a 1986 dg. Thanks

The Haynes book of lies says :-

In the case of the higher pressure switch, it will first be necessary to unbolt and bend aside the exhaust cover plate.

Disconnect the lead from switch and unscrew it from the engine; recover the O-ring
.

Not very helpful -
Is it not possible to get a suitably sized spanner onto the switch from the side?

You can get it out with a 24mm socket and a pair of vice grips on the socket instead of a ratchet, there’s a zip tie holding the wire which needs cutting before the socket will fit , it’s a five minute job once you get your head around it

Will give the socket idea a go but my engine bar is very close. Cheers
