Hi folks,

Does anyone have a recommendation for fitting a roof box? I was looking at these custom made bars from Brickwerks: roof bar
Has anyone fitted them? Are they compatible with Thule or Halford boxes does anyone know?
 

The custom made bars from Brickwerks do look like a nice piece of kit, but having space underneath the bars can have its advantage’s, I suppose it depends on what needs to be carried.

My boxes are from Halfords and looking at the Brickwerks bars I think they would need different, Unbolts fitted. However, they are quite old so fixings may have changed.

I think these are much wider than a standard bar that fits into the brackets of a standard roof box. Maybe worth asking Brickwerks.
Although Thule 952 legs are high enough to clear the top

I'm in touch with Brickwerks to find the dimensions, then I'll do some detective work, as you say ZsZ, perhaps too wide.
