Morning all, just thought I’d post some pictures of a custom CAD interior my friend has designed and built for me.

Within it, there is a sliding spice rack, pull out wetsuit drawer in the boot, sliding top bunk for the kids, concealed battery compartment etc…

Very impressed with what he is capable of, and absolutely made up with the interior so far. I still need to put the rock and roll bed in, plumb the gas and water, and connect the leisure battery.

As I say, super impressed with what he has achieved. Very talented!

That's really good. It's amazing what technology we have nowadays.
When I was building my big camper van over xmas outside work, a guy who runs a company across the way came over and offered his services and the use of his double garage sized machine to cut my units out with:

Excellent. What materials did you use and who supplied them?

Paul would be best answering that question. He’s “therollingbrick” on this forum.

I believe they are vohringer ply and 15mm thick. Really strong and light for their size. I think he is planning on starting a business designing and selling them in the future

Adrian from LeisureMax supplied the ply. It's a lightweight ply, I believe its 12mm and then with the laminate applied it brings it to 15mm finished. It is really strong for its weight, not as strong as a birch ply but waaaaaay lighter. It allowed us to put load of drawers into Adams van without it weighing a ton!
