A standard type AC will be fine. You need an A or B type only when you're supplying an EV charger.

Yours is not a make I recognise. It looks cheap and may be c..p! I suggest buying Hager or Wylex or Schneider - a reputable make!

Until a few years ago I was a professional electrician.

Cheers!

Before you start part swapping you really need to be able to test for a supply ( live & neutral ) to the RCD. A multimeter is the best thing to use not a neon screwdriver.

If you have not already done so a visual check and check for tightness of the connections and cord grip inside the blue plug would be easy to check .

I have tested but my multimeter is a auto one so can only test the wiring with a continuity test, the wiring to the rcd live, earth and neutral bar in the consumer unit all good it just  the rcd.

Have you checked that the overload button has not popped out and needs resetting.  I have a different RCD to yours but this happens to mine occassionally.
