Hi all,

Wanting to put in a two tank Bio Fuel system into my 2wd t25 1.6N/A D.

The secound tank i want to install if i am right could be a syncro tank as they are mounted diffrently, or am i thinking wrongly?

So i am asking, syncro tanks are they located out of the way of the 2WD fuel tank?

Thanks Jon

syncro tanks sit around and above the gear box.......
not sure if they fit on a 2wd, but got one here cheapish if you want to experiment

I theory I suppose you could fit a syncro tank on 2WD there is some sound insulation on 2WD drive that would need to be removed. It may be easier to go for an internal tank similar to the LPG tanks? Use the smaller internal tank for regular and the bigger for the bio?

I might be wrong but will it clear the gearbox on a 2wd vehicle? A syncro has extra clearence as the 'box is located lower in its subframe.
