Hi guys,

I am currently prepping my new bulkhead panel and have a mystery bracket, does anyone know what it is for?? It was missing on the original, assumed rotten and fell off.

It looks like a good crud trap so will remove if non essential.

Photos are looking at underside near the gearstick aperture.

A pure guess, but maybe the tank breather tube guides the cross left to right under the van?

If nobody has a better suggestion by tomorrow afternoon, or a definitive answer, I will crawl under my van and check if I have it.

I would say it is for a heater valve or hose bracket on SA vans

It's all good, thanks for the offer of taking a look,
I had a good look through all my photos prior to stripping my van, I cannot see any evidence this bracket is needed on my van.
I have whipped it off so case closed.
