Rear window washer not working

hey all, wasn't sure whether to put this here or in electrical.

My rear window washer isn't working, the bottle is filled up by the engine bay, the water pump / motor makes its noise when engaged so I assume that's working,  yet no water makes it onto the window.

what should i be checking first to diagnose this?

Get a pin and dig it in washer nozzle. Open the hatch and check water pipe in top right hand corner. It often splits there

And often gets kinked there too, not long before it splits .

i had a check and it looks like i have wires at both sides at the top of the tailgate, no rubber piping. would it be routed somewhere else?

The pipe will be inside the rubber cover .

Has it ever worked since you have had the van ??
It maybe it’s just filling the inner cavity of the van with water if the pipe isn’t even going up there

Looking top right corner of open rear hatch.
Otherwise take hatch interior panel off and check for piping...

Well that’s good news then , get to a fish tank supplier and buy a joiner of the right size unless you feel like replacing the whole length .

Dont think MOT man will like that.
The pipe on my camper was split in exactly the same place. Very easy fix with slightly larger bore of pipe and a quality adhesive or bathroom sealant.

Aha! Was working on the assumption if there is a lever, a nozzle and a wiper blade then it should be in working condition.
Still learning after 13 years :rofl

Just use a pipe joiner as mentioned, why mess about with odd sized pipe and sealant - that is just making a mountain out of a molehill!
