Hi,
Accelerator pump on carb.  Wet around the pump especially below.
Cannot think of anything else other than gasket has gone. No problems when running. Usually run on lpg but on petrol at the moment so maybe this is why I have just noticed the problem. Any suggestions welcome.
For the life of me cannot find carbs in Bentleys Manual. What section is it under? 

Yanks didn't have carbs as far as I know.

Pump, diaphragm was the cause of mine doing this , easily resolved with a kit from BW
