Is it true ford granada/scorpio alloys fit a t25? will they fit straight on? or do you need a spacer?

If you need any fitting bit I have it on the shelf.

they do fit right on!!! don't need spacers, or atleast i didn't!! however collars on the the nuts and bolts are advised along with extended bolts and studs (neither of which i used) i had the 15" six spoke ones, nice wide tyres but not too low a profile so there was still some ride comfort!!

As Dave said, no spacers required. Had to get the centres bored out to fit on my syncro, and have stuck extended bolts on the back, using collars and nuts. Have got extended studs to put on the front when I get round to it, although perfectly secure as they are.
But they were temporarily on my 2wd with no modifications .

As some of you will be aware I too have been looking at wheel options
How come nobody seems to take much notice of the load rating of car wheels when fitted to a 2400Kg camper ?
Some shops, including Russell from Synchronutz, and other sources, seem to be pretty insistant that this practice is unsafe ?

The Ford 16 inch Cosworth wheels will bolt onto your 2WD and need the centres opening up to fit on a Syncro.. however the rear centre caps will not fit as the hub nut comes out through the wheel.
ghost123uk, have you ever tried to find out what the wheel rate is from a manufacturer? Most of the cars which the wheels are taken from weigh 1600kg plus so thats on a par with the type 25 on an everyday trip. If you can find out some info on these wheels, please let us all know.
Have you noticed that all the people who are talking about wheel rates and
how unsafe it is... are also trying to sell you their wheels?

i would recomend the 16" over the 15" as they are easier to fit + easier on tyre sizes..
wonder what the people who are talking about wheel rates would think of my next ones....
thats right "split rims"..........mmmmmmmm......
