Hi, igniter on my RM212 fridge has stopped working so I'd like to remove fridge it to check it out. Van is a 1990 Autosleeper. I've taken outer grill off, no obvious fridge fixings there. I've removed 2 screws from cupboard on left of fridge and 3 on the right. I know there is a solid gas line connecting somewhere as well. The fridge feels like it is free but I can't pull it out, any tips? Where is it easiest to split the gas pipe, can it be done on the control valve once fridge is slightly out? Is spark gap accessible through vent opening? BTW, supply seems OK, as does rocker switch. TIA, Brian

My fridge was held in with two screws on either side as shown.

Have you removed the external flu pipe, this is attached to the fridge and may hinder removal, I think some of the gas pipes are also on a flexible fixing to allow removal.

Yeah, found those screws. I think the flue is not solidly connected to the outside on this one, when you remove the outer grill part of the flue comes with it.
I can get about 1mm of movement, I'm just not keen on muscling it more in case something breaks.

When you say part of the flue do you mean the pipe, if the pipe is still connected to the fridge it points upwards at an angle and needs to be removed via the outlet before the fridge pulls out, otherwise it could damage the inner part it is connected to. I have found an image of the rear to give you an idea. Sometimes the flue pipe is longer than the one pictured in this.

Right, got the fridge out, it just needed a bit more of a pull.
In case it helps anyone in the future, there is a generous coil in the copper pipe to the valve at the top of the fridge, enough to pull it out far enough to access the nut on the connection.
