Saturday is the 10th??? And in November the 11th was a Friday......I'm confused now.......it says
VOTING ENDS SATURDAY 11/11 AT MIDNIGHT MST
Whatever, voted anyway..........and even though that van resides on my drive, I do think 161 is a bloomin good photo......who took it?

I took one similar to that, but it had some scruffy geezer standing in front of the van...

Breakspear Way ?
Glad you survived, big wasn't it. Hope this hasn't affected your business; local rag says maybe 50 of the large industrial and office buildings are not repairable.
Going to go back now it's cooled down as used to live in Woodhall farm, right at the front there, overlooking the North end. They seemed not to get it too bad, or those windows were mighty tough. Some block walls flattened two or three roads back, back walls of council lockup garages.
A miracle, the whole thing, local planning inspector indicated that if it had been a weekday, serious casulaties might have been in the 1000's.

Wouldnt let us in to the building till Wednesday afternoon. Window damage only really. We have a place in Nuneaton which we used instead. Good job it didnt happen during a week day

Nuneaton and Hemel eh? Both linked by the marvellous Virgin stinkers (Pendolinos), Liverpool?
Was reminded today of Flixborough disaster by an engineer working there at the time... hope this was notya repeat of a poor engineering approach to safety - or as in 1974, none at all! 30 tons of Cylcohexane released and exploded, maybe not disimilar at all.
