Hi
We are re doing our interior for the summer, it was far too lilac even for our 5 year old!, I fancy fitting roller blinds instead of curtains, has anyone ever done it? if so, any problems arise?
Any info greatly welcomed!
Cheers

roller blinds you have two options, either proper jobbys from fiamma or the like much ££, or the cheap types from car shops, but you might have to replace the fabric with something that is not see through!
have a look at
auto curtians although ther are for a t4, the long wheel base set would fit a t25 very nicely and they are very well priced, plus they are really tidy, you can even open the slider with them shut!

Dont do curtains, silver screens much better keep the van nice and cool in hot weather and dont let much light in.

Hi folks
back to roller blinds....
I was thinking of your Argos £10 each type thingy's.
Just pretend it's your bathroom window, but only 14" high!
I cant see why they wont work, and we can use about 4'6" of spare fabric for a table cloth/ cover for the Scirocco!(s)...
A few self tappers and a bit of ingenuity ...
I might try 1 window first!
Will report with findings asap
Cheers

blinds every time, i originnally had the household type but the pully uppy stringy thingys got on me nerves swaying about, so i wanted spring loaded rollers, i couldnt find any i liked, so i bought some large car sunscreen ones, and replaced the material with blackout fabric, they work well, the only curtain i have is between the cab and the back, i cant fit a blind there, the shape is wrong
Blinds again....

Hi
Thanks for all your replies, I was looking at saving a few quid by fitting domestic blinds,
But having just received the JK catalogue, It looks like I can get `Silverscreen' jobbies for around £60 . Get in.. I thought they'd be a fortune.
It seems I have over estimated the cost in this area,.. Result.
Next question, Where do you put them when not in use? (the silver screens, that is.)
Cheers.
