If your van is a 1980 then I cannot quite see how you could interface a DOPS oil pressure system to what is a much earlier loom which does not have the RPM signal wire or the extra oil pressure wire. The DOPS system is designed to function with two oil pressure switches and fitted to later dashboards that have an horizontal multi connector.
You could try linking the wire that goes to the oil pressure switch to chassis earth and see if it cures the problem or disconnect it - what type of oil pressure is fitted, normally open or normally closed? But, based on what you describe, more information is needed regards any changes made to the original wiring and wether a later dashboard has been fitted.

looks like the dash and whole loom was changed over too
my other van 89 diesel og ky now 1y looks very alike but not excatly the same
this is all was grand till alt changed
they both have the sensors (black normally open) on the head and on the filter housing but on both the one at filter no connected
i swapped the sensors from other van that did not cure it

You changed alternator, check that the "W" connection is good , that is where the BoD gets the Rev details from .

Easy to determine if it is an alternator issue, check the W connection as advised by Mocki or just put the original one back on as it is not too difficult to do.
The high oil pressure switch is normally open and the 0.3 bar lower oil pressure switch is normally closed, you can emulate the correct operating condition by connecting the wire (yellow) that goes to the high oil pressure switch to chassis and disconnect the blue/black wire that would normally go to the low oil pressure switch.
